Just to share another anecdote related to your OP, I met a slim, reasonably cute, 18 year old girl at a house party in late 2018 and she ended up ghosting me after we exchanged a few texts thereafter (my text game was garbage back then to be fair).

I'm afraid that was me. I had a crazy mental break after failing to slay at clubs that one time.

It's possible that some of the girls who were teasing me and pushing me away with smiles on their faces were actually doing it more playfully/benevolently now that I look back on it, I was just being a huge pessimist due to the fact I wasn't being given the full Chad treatment.

As for fully retelling that story, I'm just gonna let that die along with Lookism. If guys wanna plumb the depths of the wayback machine to try and find those threads from 4 and a half years ago, I guess they're free to do that.

More about actions than words in these cases, but same thing I think. I remembered being bothered that I tried to grab a girl's hips so I could grind on her (she could see me the whole time, it wasn't an assault scenario) and then she laughed and smiled and pushed my hands away gently.
