Because in this generation we're easily replaceable and not many people want to make things work, they just move on easily from you like it was nothing.

To the topic, I think it's just the curse of modernity, absolutely everyone is lazy and spiritually obese at all times.
It'll end with a bunch of men of action killing everybody, destroying the global slave state.
Then life will get it's feeling back.
