I was invited for an introduction meeting. Based on that, they’ll decide whether or not I’m a good fit for the school. Well, the other faculty member said that by law, they are required to receive a so-called Certificate of Conduct from anyone who wishes to work in Education, even if it’s for an internship. A Certificate of Conduct is handed out by the government and they will check to see if you’ve got a criminal background, and based on that they’ll give you one or not, depending on the criminal past you may have. When he said that, I said “I have a confession to make…” and got quiet for a second. They seemed somewhat concerned. Then I resumed, “I’m a good boy, so that won’t be a problem.” Aha. They laughed. :feelsautistic:

That's the spirit. A good teacher doesn't take everything so seriously. You can always remain professional while taking subtle jabs at the status quo. That's the best way to get them to question everything, as young minds should.

TL;DR: I implied I had a criminal background that would not allow me to work at schools.

Aww thanks, brother! It means a lot coming from someone who has worked as a teacher himself. :Comfy:

Some male teachers favor female students. I won’t look at gender. I’ll treat them according to their behavior. :Comfy:
