its good with a good coach
it became far more popular when khabib joined the ufc bc his dad was(rip) a sambo coach but his dad also was a soldier + very good wrestler
because its newly became mainstream there are many fraud coaches
ask your coaches credentials and you gonna be good

My country used to be part of the USSR so we had lots of Russian influence. Our coaches are legit and oldschool no problem bout that.

wrestling is very good for street fighting and
they teach oldschool/legit wrestling to adults which is hard to find bc wrestling clubs usually dont accept adults
especially if ur in eastern europe

its okay if u do light sparring and mitt work,heavy bag only if u dont want to take part in competitions
you dont have to do hard sparring
you can beat like 95% of the population or even more like this
