I want to try and build a home studio on a tight budget

my apartment is pretty big, over 60m^2 so i have plenty of space to work with.
Got a budget of about 5k USD.
I imagine i'll need to soundproof shit but i' not good with handywork. but when i'm done i intend to try to market myself on social media and recruit local talent and mix and master and record local ppls tracks for whatever price, maybe even evolve it into a record label eventually if i become successful enough.
Can anybody give me a step by step guide to how to build a home studio and sound-proofing n shit?

Is this shit doable for a guy with average IQ and 5k budget? Or should i just waste the little money i have left on useless materialistic posessions? I don't wanna have to go back to living on welfare again.

doesn't matter, it's too difficult to make music anyway so i figured i'll just stick to mixing and mastering other ppls music for money.

Sorry bro it's not gonna happen, unless you own the place it doesn't make sense to do all that work (it's crazy amount of work).
So here's the step by step:
1) Buy decent headphones
2) Photoshop a picture of someone elses studio, pretend like that's yours
3) Mix these other peoples music with your headphones, which is almost just as good
4) Apon having fame and money, make sure you get your face squeezed HARD between girls who are half your age's buttcheeks

no it's not. Fiverr is full of "mastering experts" who take your music, spend 3 minutes adjusting the volume knobs, then calls it a day for 49.99$, it's a borderline scam how easy it is. All on their laptop while frauding a pic of a real studio

OP isn't trying to master the next Kayne album, he would just mix some local soundcloud rappers. his mix would be way better than any Fivverr nia without barely trying

because mixing (almost) any music is a halo, good way to get bonus points in your quest to sqeeuze your face between the buttcheeks of a girl half your age.

however as someone said, there's no money in it, so you'd also need a real proffession
