3-6 inches above the avg of ur country is ideal and it's a lot more about the frame when you get above 3 inches over the national avg. So for my country, the avg is 175cm or almost 5'9 so I'll need to be 6'-6'3 to be ideal height. Same for someone in the us cuz the avg is same. For someone in the Balkans they'll need 6'2-6'5. Still if you're above avg height matters a lot less. It is more about the face after a point tbh. Your height should be tall enough to make you stand out but short enough to keep you amongst the extended averages. You'd like to be the 3rd tallest dude in a class of 40 ideally.
