In the future the solar system will be colonized. This is not a theory but a fact. The inner solar system will be colonized, and the outer solar system will be colonized as well. The outer solar system will be colonized through Jupiter and Saturn's moons. The same goes for Neptune and Uranus. It's quite fascinating really.

I have no idea what will happen to the outer solar system planets themselves.. will they be terraformed? I have no idea at the moment. But our descendants will indeed live in a SCI FI reality, which is quite fascinating to think about. That's the type of world I'd like to live in.

Crime will increase, as it will be difficult to maintain people across the solar system. There will be space ships in space like cars, but the traffic will be significantly less compared to cars on Earth.
