people always say "well the average college graduate makes more than average" okay so youre basing your future off of statistical averages, while striving to be above average considering college graduates are in the minority? You have to pick one. Are you going to gamble your future based off of calculations and professional averages or are you going to strive to be outside of average. You cant do both. And the reality is you are not going to be able to out compete peers who are doing out of passion when you are doing it with one foot in and one foot out because you think it will pay good. If youre thinking about averages and statistics and how many people make it in your profession its absolutely over for you. Thats like going into jiujitsu wondering if the average person gets their blackbelt. Its pointless, the average individual is a hollowed NPC.
