If it's a classic high school assignment, summaries are everywhere. Go read those and focus on

• Overall summary
• Chapter by chapter breakdowns (focus on key events, characters, quotes)
• Themes, symbols, character analysis

If you have the physical book

• Read intro/conclusion fully.
• Table of contents, note chapter titles.
• First and last paragraph of every chapter.
• Any bolded stuff, dialogues, or dramatic parts.
