I never liked cricket. The era is dead though. 2007 to 2012 was crickets prime.

I think T20 disrupted this format, it's gonna feel less exciting now. 2007 was disaster for India and Pakistan, first time none could clear even for super 8.

Today will be fairly crucial coz the current ODI ranking of India doesn't mean much, the competitors have hitherto been low hanging fruits, a couple of players leading the innings and changing the destiny of the match or just tournaments of little importance. This match will actually decide how likely India is to even make it to the semis tbh. India needs to either win or worst case, give a very low NRR.

This has usually been an indian team thing, thankfully they have bucked the trend this time (till now). Only Hardik's overs were slightly expensive when he injured his finger.
