Most people think of ice cream as junk food, but from a biochemical perspective, a high quality ice cream with minimal ingredients is actually one of the most nutritionally dense and metabolically supportive foods you can eat.

A proper ice cream should have:
  • Whole milk (preferably raw)
  • Cream (preferably raw)
  • Egg yolks
  • Sugar (preferably sucrose, not HFCS)
  • Vanilla or any fruit for flavor

No gums, no seed oils, no artificial additives. Just pure pro-metabolic, pro-thyroid, anti-stress ingredients.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Saturated Fats from the Milk & Cream gives you the fat soluble vitamins and doesn’t promote inflammation (unlike PUFAs).

The Egg yolks are high in choline, fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) and contain cholesterol (precursor to T)

Sucrose (Sugar), directly fuels your metabolism, reduces cortisol & stress and is the preffered energy source for your brain and muscles.

Calcium from the Milk & Cream inhibits parathyroid hormone and reduces soft tissue calcification, promoting stronger bones, teeth and metabolic health, also helps with lowering prolactin which is good for you overall.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All in all Real Ice Cream is a easy to digest, anti-stress, pro metabolic health food that you should absolutely include in your diet, not neccesarily daily but when you crave it, like with most foods.

dont feel bad for eating something healthy and delicious, its all brainwash, your body only asks for something it needs, never seen someone crave raw broccoli for example.

well ice cream has the beautiful combination of all of these good ingridients, while tasting absolutely delicious. sure its not the only good food, but it gets mispresented as unhealthy junk food.

Is sugarcane healthy?
cane sugar is just sucrose, its nothing special, sure its processed, but processed doesent necessarily mean bad, honey ofc would be even better cause it has some good components, but still, in the body in the end it has no different metabolic value

okay, youre right ofcourse, this is all great, but there is nothing inherently wrong with cane sugar, also stevia is bad for you since its a artificial sweetener which is tricking your body to spike insulin without providing glucose energy, i dont know what molasses is, honey is overall the prefered sweetener of choice cause of its other anti-inflammatory compounds.

I disagree

Eating more energy than you burn will make you fat.
yes, energy from the ammount of substrates: fat, carbs and proteins, not the ammount of caloric value, its just a meaningless measurment

yeah i guess that helps, baklava without nuts or seeds added is good.

You are still saying calories but missing one step

Yes a low pufa high carb lowish fat diet will somewhat boost your NEAT and (pulling this out my ass) possibly boost your bmr

Regardless of this though, you eat more calories than you maintain at your liver will store it as fat

yes but thats just because youre eating higher ammounts of fat and carbs usually which has to be taken into account in the measurment of calories, i.e. fat 7calories or so and carbs 4calorie per g. if you eat in a ketosis state, even above maintenence, 0 carb will make you lose weight, in a bad way tho, same with if youd only eat sugar and no fat

I don’t understand what you’re trying to say, what is your argument here

if you eat in a ketosis state, even above maintenence, 0 carb will make you lose weight, in a bad way tho, same with if youd only eat sugar and no fat
You’re wrong

Eat 5000 calories a day of protien and fat 0 carb and watch the fat accumulate

Excess calories get stored as fat, regardless of the macro

Yes protien takes 20-30% more calories to burn, it is a lot more satiating, takes longer to digest and keeps you fuller longer, so it is harder to get fat on it

Regardless of this, you WILL get fat if you eat over the amount of calories it takes to maintain your weight

You will ruin yourself on 0 fat, you need enough fat, not a high amount

i’m not gonna say you’re wrong but i disagree

i can easily eat like 3 ribeyes in one sitting and thats like 3000-4000 calories
