humans have more sentience, they are the ones responsible for most causation in this world, whether negative or positive, a human will always be more important then an animal by default (can be bad or good importance)

beyond that, humans have more attachment to the world, while i don't wish for an animal to die unnecessarily, they do not have family and friends who will deeply reflect their passing who they are tied to unlike a human, even then humans have more potential to cause, whether good or bad, even a person entirely alone has more value then any animal, maybe even species, even if they cause a bad event

obviously animal abuse is bad, since they can still cause a net positive, but any time where its the death of any amount of animals to save one human, i'd choose a human to be saved

you can always reach higher pleasure, but in life there is always sacrifices, in order to attain the highest pleasure, you must have either ibfibite power, or temporarily sacrifice pleasure

it breaks down eventually when i just say why feel good, you can never answer it other the "Because it is what I defined as lifes meaning"

to say "The meaning of life is X" and respond to the question why with "Because that is how I defined it" isn't an acceptable answer to me at least, doesn't reveal anything about the nature of life, it isn't entirely achievable, it sometimes doesn't make sense, and in experimental observations in real life, it can entirely fall apart
