Ideal Frontal Ratios (better than the BOTB thread)

The Ideal Frontal Ratios and how to measure them

These are all frontal ratios you need to know.
My ratios are from renowned raters like FaceIQ and more.

Keep in mind there's much more to ratings, like the weighting of the ratios, tiers outside of the ideal, dimorphism, angularity, ...
If you need help with those feel free to DM me 👍🏻

3. How to measure your ratios:

For those who of you who are still trying to figure out to accurately utilize these ratios, I'll give you a quick explanation

3.1 How to take a proper picture:

You might not believe it, but the picture you're using can completely mess up the analysis.

That's why you should make sure to use a certain kind of portrait.
With lense distortion being the main culprit, do the following.

For ideal results, do this:
  • Put camera on eye level
  • Stand 6 feet away
  • Use back camera with 2x/3x zoom
And there you have it. A proper portrait you can use.

3.2 How to measure:

For measuring, you'll need a tool that can count the pixels of your image.
Here are some examples for the device you're using.

If you're on PC, try:
  • Gimp (free)
  • Adobe Photoshop (popular)
  • Image meter (cheap, simple)
If you're on mobile, try:
