If you replace your genes with Chad's genes, will you need surgery or are these just imaginary? (Someone who knows medicine should come)

Yes if your done growing or almost done growing, it’s likely that revolutionary surgeries will be a thing before that though.

Part of the reason why medical moves so much slower compared to tech is because medical regulation is very high.

There probably is something out there that can make your bones grow vertically, horizontal, density wise but it can’t be widely studied due to regulation.

Are you underestimating gene editing technology?
The obstacles between us and gene editing is absolutely huge, massive ethical issues, the price, the absolute boatload of evidence that would be needed for such a thing to be launched, more research and how few are able or can afford to do that research, the amount of goverments, agencies and unions that would have to approve it etc etc

And even if you could manipulating genes of an old person wont do to much for such problems as your bones are fused

I can almost guarantee this technology wont be widely available before you die

Surgery or ldar

What are you talking about? Can you even calculate how much money it would cost to delay aging, increase bone tissue, correct baldness, and much more? Do you know how much money is spent on cosmetic surgery? What if, instead of undergoing a very painful surgery, I could increase your bone mass with a simple blood infusion? Do these things seem impossible to you? Okay, now look at the technological and medical advancements that have developed over the past 50 years?

Im noy ssying its impossible but devoloping it withou spending an absolute gortune aint happening

If it is developed, I'm sure it will be as expensive as surgeries.
No, do you seriosly think a company would spend billions upon billions to have revolutionairy patented technology just to not over charge you? Answer is no it doesnt mstter if it becomes easy or cheap to use that technology as it not relevant to the company

100k minimum

You will be able to do a lot with it, but you wont turn into chad by doing this past puberty, also there will most likely be no legal nor affordable option for normies for the next 30 years atleast. We need to first understand the synergy and dependence of every gene in the human body, sure maybe there will be some blackmarket for it, but just for looks fuck no. Surgery is already expensive, but this is going to cost 10x atleast. The only benefits i see in CRISPR, past puberty is health-, muscle-, nootropic-, and some secondary looks parameter benefits

we need the medication world like it was 50 years ago (except selling cigs to anyone)

Do you know what stops bone development after a certain age? Genes

Not to mention the type of gene cripr yiure talking about wouldnt be one form of crispr, it would be thousands in one, maybe millions even due to the dheer anount of genes yiure changing and just think about how muchbit costs to deveolop maller examples

Yea but surgery will outweigh bonegrowth in every fucking aspect, even if you manage to set controled impulses your bones growth direction wont be corrected by crispering. So in that aspect you will end up looking better with surgery imo and it will still be cheaper
