This would be my split

Full body

- chest press
- shoulder press
- tricep pushdown
- lat pulldown
- kelso shrug
- rear delt fly
- preacher curl
- leg extension
- hamstring curl
- calf raise

1 set of everything, 1 rir

I rather sports where i'm running, like gaelic football or rugby

It never occurred to me that full body in one session is really the way to go for casual lifters

I just want to add muscle , period

My goal isn't to become calum von mogger or something

All this chest day , leg day, push - pull stuff is for competitive pros

The average joe just needs 1-2 full body sessions per week and it's finished. Rest is cardio and diet.

I don't know of any examples

But if it's an actor preparing for a role then sure , but not for competitive bodybuilding

I like gym tho cant I do it every week and rest on weekend

IMO, there's no overtraining legs

And it's not just for aesthetics

I had my first full body workout of the year (and so far only one) 3 days ago

I went easy on the legs by only doing hams and leg press

My boners have been viagra tier

I thought it's just placebo but it's been happening every time

It's about getting the blood flowing in areas near your dick

Dawg what you described is low volume exercise. Your body doesn’t have the physical ability to build every single muscle the way it does with the one specific one targeted in a study. The only people able to recover like that are the top tier body builders on an unbelievable amount of steroids, hence why they can do 4 muscle groups in a day and grow.

If a normal person does a full body split they just won’t see any growth

Your muscles need recovery period, when people work a different muscle group daily, 2 days of rest is recommended weekly. The amount required would be way more if you are trying to do them all every day. So much so that you would be working out like 2 days a week to reach ideal rest periods

Just do compounds and pull ups dips chin ups push ups

On top of core work and reverse hyper extension

After going round the fitness block I’ve realized going bro are one is the best option for longevity, conscience and athleticism
