One user mentioned it in another thread, and I was already thinking of it for some time before;
We know attraction is objective and everyone wants good looking people, even ugly looking people - so if you're ugly, you're ugly to everyone, if you're good looking you're good looking to everyone (ignoring extremes of personal taste). Still, women are hypergamous, and preferably want a guy looking better than them...
...but on the other hand, average female's ego is orbiting near the sun no matter if she's a thin blonde stacy or a fat 3/10. Therefore...

...would you agree that if you are attractive to Becky, then you are attractive to Stacy, too? That if you are in top 20%, then you have chance with most women, and not only up to your looksmatch? Or do you think the women rather have some innate feeling out of social structure and hypergamy despite the contant ego-pumping they are subjected to, and will never go below their standing on centile scale - therefore you can only go as high as your looksmatch, even if you're in top 20%

Nah a Stacy knows she can get better than you. A Becky could maybe, but chad would go for Stacy, so Becky settles with you if she finds you slightly attractive. Stacy could find you minimally attractive but has the option of better looking guys easily
