if my skin is irritated and burning after i put a moisturizer

should i change moisturizer?
the thing is, i put the moisturizer after i put benzoyl (i wait 20 minutes) so thats why my skin is irritated and burning, is that a bad thing to do?
the moisturizer has a silicic acid in it.

any skincare experts here?
i want both benzoyl and silicic acid to kill acne and get a skin glass face but it burns my skin
i thought about putting aloevera the moisturizer to calm my skin
