Many studies exist showing neurotypical people are masters at recognizing whether someone has autism, even in sub 5 seconds of interaction. The main issue is they don't recognize it as the other person having "autism." They recognize it as the other person being "weird" or "awkward" or "creepy" or "off."
So yes, people's SMV here is heavily affected by their neurodivergency [if you're on this forum and made an account you're automatically neurodivergent, maybe not autistic but definitely a disordered way of thinking as a pure neurotypical person would never step foot here.] but they aren't high EQ enough to realise it [as low EQ and neurodivergency goes hand in hand most of the time.]
