South Asian and African cooking makes heavy use of pungent spices like cloves and garlic etc
www.livestrong.com
The heavy use of spices is what makes these cusines so damn flavourful and delicious. Every bite is an explosion of flavours but this extra flavor also comes with you smelling like shit, the result of a chemical compound called allicin, which makes garlic sweat emanate from your pores
Garlic, cloves and strong spices are a staple in African and South Asian cooking which can give a distinctive smell to your body odor.
Besides the cooking thing, there are 2 types of sweat glands. 1 type is the "regular" sweat that is produced by caucasians and is found all over the body except the genitals. The genitals have a different type of sweat gland that produces a more oily-fatty type sweat with more proteins.
The bacteria that feed on the more protein rich sweat produce a more pungent odor. Indians, Africans and people from the tropical climates have the highest number of these sweat glands which accounts for their different smell.
So this is what gives the blacks and South Asians their characteristic smelling like weed, smelling like menthol, curling cream smell and curry smell, agarbatti incense stick smell etc
And with now being summer. I highly recommend you to stop eating spicy food. There's plenty of dishes in our cusines that aren't filled with spices and have a cooking effect
Besides this buy a perfume that is not cloying and not too heavy. Anything heavy and you'll stink up the entire room and choke everyone out with perfume because of overactive pores and glands. All perfumes will project like crazy because of your oily skins so also go conservative on your sprays. Something light airy. Not heavy gourmand scents like stronger with you, Jazz club, Tom Ford leather etc. Only white people can pull off these scents in summer. You need to stick to fresh green and blue fragrances for summer

Does Eating Garlic Make Your Skin Smell?
Garlic contains allicin, which breaks down into smelly compounds that can affect your breath and skin.
