They’re going for this grounded take which honestly just doesn’t work and comes off as goofy. like it’s a serious police scene and then this mf with pointy ass bat ears and a cape comes along and inspects shit like it’s totally normal. Also it completely devolved into generic capeshit in the third act and riddler was a lame villain
