Stop being a bitch and use accutane, besides the dry lips and occasional backpain it really isnt bad. The chances of getting other side effects is pretty low. Purging is mostly in the first 2/3 months. I have been using 40 mg for like 6 months and it has ascended me so hard. I went from a depressive acnecel who wanted to rope to doing good mentally and getting some girls here and there.

As my acne is already cleared, I am planning to continue staying on a low dose for a long time so the acne doesnt come back. I heard around 7,5-10 mg is beneficial. I would say my only regret about accutane is not beginning earlier.

Btw dont forget to wear sunscreen while on accutane (you should wear it always anyway) and eat something fatty before taking your pills.

Yeah accutane is pretty incredible, unfortunately lots of people overexaggerate how bad the side effects are which is what delayed me from taking it but I'm glad I looked over the fearmongering and took it

Facts brother, fearmongering by others is what kept me from using it before. But when I hit rockbottom earlier this year I tough to myself: ''I can't go lower anyways so why not try it out?''. Best decision ever as it kept me from roping cuz of accutane. People underestimate how much acne can ruin your selfesteem and mental health.

My acne wasn't even terrible when I took it lmao. I was just interested in getting super clear skin and my mom was really worried about me taking it but I took the risk and found out it was fun as shit. Just got dry lips and dry hands

30mg for 7 months. Despite it working very well, I defo wish I took a higher dose, so I'm thinking of doing a second course again

Damn some days my drips were so fucking dry. I never got dry hands tho. My T-zone is dry occasionaly but I have a good moisturizer so that isnt a problem. I think about microneedling or lasering to get rid of some few small scars

30 mg is pretty low seeing as you have been on it for 7 months. If your skin is clear why higher the dose tho? Why not stay on a low dose for a long time

I naturally have dry lips so the accutane only accentuated the issue but I didn't mind it. My hands were dry as FUCK though, it literally looked like I had a skin condition. The entire backs of my hands were dark red and scaly, even people I didn't know would comment on it lol. Other than that it was chill.

I took it from August 2024 until March 2025, and while it did clear up my skin for the most part I do occasionally get a pimple here and there. It's certainly way better than my skin when I first started but I want my skin to be as clear as possible which is why I'm considering a second course. Tbh I'm torn between tazarotene or taking accutane again since I'm not too familiar with skincare.

Ngl I didn't have much luck with tazarotene or tretinoin. Tbh maybe a second course is smart after which u drop to a low dose like 10 mg to stay on it.

Btw every nigger who reads this, if u got acne scars use azelaic acid (not while on accutane tho)

I'm going to book an appointment with a dermatologist and either ask them for an accutane course or tazarotene if they refuse to perscribe accutane. I remember my derma telling me they don't like perscribing it to people who barely have acne but I'll try to convince them

Regarding acne scars, does azelaic acid actually work? I have some minor acne scars but wanna get rid of them.

If you live in europe use this link to order tazarotene: https://www.heals.gr/vendors/boderm/boderm-tazarene-01-40ml.htm
Azelaic acid works wonders over time bro. But still gonna look if lasering or microneedling helps as I want everything gone immediately

tbh if your using dutasteride and a topical anti androgen you may not even need accutane

80 mg for three months raped all my acne

I used it for another month or two after and now it’s just some scarring left

No I have a liver made of steel, I only take vit D and Creatine.

I went to a few parties back in the day and when I would drink I could tolerate so much alcohol it was absurd all the other high schoolers were like what the fuck. I’d be like legit 8 fireballs in and not even tipsy yet. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but certainly interesting.
