What are you doing son.

Buy the tallest sneakers you can and put a 1-2 inch lift in there.

"Bb-b-but people will notice I got taller"

JFL if you're not highheelsmaxxing. It won't make you look faggy as long as you have high T traits.

I'm 6'0/ 184cm. What height can I get away with?

Its more about the comfort of ur feet.
I can't use more than 1.5 inches in boots, and in sneakers I use a thick insole from a sports store.

With lifts and nike airmax 720

How well do lifts fit in 720s? Was about to buy a pair myself but they look like you can only fit a 1/2 inch lift in there (not 1/2 inch given height I mean 1/2 inch measured from the back of the lift).

To be honest you can use 1 inch lifts in them, your heal does stay in quite ok.... but I just prefer the insoles if I am walking a lot, they give me about 0.6 of an inch when I stand on them.
I've seen sneakers like this...

...where the tongue and heal area are bit higher up, maybe these would work with 1.5 inch lifts and offset the lower sole height... but then again, some shoes are unusable with even the insoles due to their form fitting design.
Boots will always work best.

That's pretty good to know, 720s already give 4.1cm which is nuts - with an extra half inch insole you could look good in shorts still (summer/spring) and still gain over 2 inches which is crazy. I couldn't fit more than 1/2 inch into 270s though without my heel being out which was annoying, Vapormax I could fit over an inch okay though.

Those shoes look kinda bad, should still follow fashion trends to normie/NT maxx.
Also can you send a link of the type of 0.6'' insole you're using?

Most height insoles that claim 1 inch are 0.7 inches

I have no doubt that it would benefit someone like me massively, but I would feel terrible.

You already know my take on this.

But why not TRY it...
Its like 7 euros for lifts?

When I started wearing lifts, I just did so when I went to the shops alone.
