If you dont believe in God you are a low IQ piece of trash

Two things wrong with this:
that's an assumption that doesn't mean anything at the point of the big bang. Why would you try to apply the laws of logic and reasoning to space-time "before" our scope of available observation?

Even if I agree with you and say that everything in the world relies on cause and effect, what created God in that case? Your response would be God is eternal. Why can't the universe just be eternal?
So you're stating we shouldn't apply logic to what happened before the big bang and assume nothing existed until randomly the big bang happened and created all of us?

Also assuming what I said was a statement even tho it wasnt, how would it be an assumption and how exactly would that stop at the big bang, you're stuck in a standstill between nothing existeded until yet again the big bang randomly happened or infinite regress in which p or the universe came from p 2 which came from p 3 so on and so fourth.

I responded to your second paragraph in my previous reply but I have a question for you, even if I stated god is eternal, how would the universe be eternal when we have a measurable date of its existent.

Honestly its embarrassing, no matter what claim you make you're just gonna be contradicting yourself.

The entire forum is punished by God

1. Im not Christian so I could careless

2. Can you actually pull up this quote because anybody can say anything
sure. Here are verses backing my claim:

“For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside.” (1 Corinthians 5:12–13)

“Jesus answered, ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.’” (John 18:36)

“If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” (Romans 12:18)

“You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:25–28)

“Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God... Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him... Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.” (1 Peter 2:12–17)

I'm confused on how you could possibly interpret this to mean: As European settler Christians we have full authority to commit these crimes upon Natives -
genocide, ethnic cleansing, seizing land, destruction of villages, slavery, debt slavery, destruction of culture, forced Christianization, sexual abuse, pedophilia, forced marriage, and resource exploitation

So you're stating we shouldn't apply logic to what happened before the big bang and assume nothing existed until randomly the big bang happened and created all of us?
Yes. Why should we apply logic to before anything existed? Before space and time itself existed? Until more research is done into this, my assumption is "I don't know". You on the other hand say "muh God, it has to be God!".

Again same issue, you can't seem to grasp the concept of something where space and time don't exist, you are falsely assuming that the causality exists OUTSIDE/BEFORE this universe.

I responded to your second paragraph in my previous reply but I have a question for you, even if I stated god is eternal, how would the universe be eternal when we have a measurable date of its existent.
We can measure the age of the expanding spacetime region, not existence itself or what came before it. We lack the tools to probe beyond what happened before "the beginning".

I don’t know how many colonizers did that. But those who did were wrong.
So only specific things that colonizers did were wrong (again just a hypothetical with Protestant colonizers), they still had the general idea right, and would ultimately be justified in colonizing natives?

Another point btw, how can you say that Christians would be justified in this, when the bible itself says not to impose Christianity on others?

“For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside.” (1 Corinthians 5:12–13)

“Jesus answered, ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.’” (John 18:36)

What, when have I ever made a claim that supports colonialism?

Im just saying if a land is a Christian only land then yes christians should only be in it?
What could this possibly even mean bro  Are you suggesting ethnostates are justified?

Your argument:
1) God is eternal, you can't ask who created God because he is uncreated
2) The universe can't be eternal because we've measured how old it is
3) There must be a creator otherwise it just lead to an infinite regress

Why can't the same logic of God being eternal be applied to the universe? When I say universe, I'm not talking about our observable scope of spacetime, I'm talking about generally, just the properties of the universe ITSELF.

Anything before the Big Bang literally isn't known, you can't make a claim about this and say its true because science can't explain it yet, the burden of proof is on YOU not via "science doesn't know so the only alternative is god".

The whole issue with this argument is you are making an ungrounded assumption that causality exists outside of time itself. On what basis did you come up with this?
> When I say universe, I'm not talking about our observable scope of spacetime, I'm talking about generally, just the properties of the universe ITSELF.

Are you saying the properties of the universe are eternal when we've seen that they've all had a begging and all will have an end?

> the burden of proof is on YOU not via "science doesn't know so the only alternative is god".

Does science state something can come out of nothing. I.e something being the big bang, the burden of proof would be up to you that something can come out of nothing. And before you bring up the eternal argument I get where you're leading at stating that the universe is that eternal being, well by definition God would be something that is uncreated that created everything. So by your logic the universe is God. But at the same point there's still an observable date to the universe and it came created from the big bang. Now my position on this is that its very possible that this isn't the first universe and that there is multiple universes before us which literally matches scientific theories about our universe being created. But say that is the case wouldn't there still be something needed for this universe. Now despite if you think God is what is described in religions. Theres still an undeniable stand point that eventually there is something that is uncreated and eternal that leads to the exist of all.

> The whole issue with this argument is you are making an ungrounded assumption that causality exists outside of time itself. On what basis did you come up with this?

"A cause i.e god i.e an uncreated eternal something exists outside of time itself"

Why would something eternal and uncreated exist in time?

My basis is logic? Something cannot come from nothing, and no god does not exist within time as that goes against the the fundamental nature of what god is.

sure. Here are verses backing my claim:

“For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside.” (1 Corinthians 5:12–13)

As a non Christian I agree with you the Bible is flawed logically and morally but I dont understand how these quotes correlate to "if its a Christian only land, only Christian can live there" so if you can bring up a verse that says or is the similar to Christians being unable to have a land only for themselves, also I dont know what tou mean by the last paragraph, yeah sure they did that but what does that have to do with my statement, also wouldnt that mean Christians can have Christian only lands

No but would you still agree with him if he said Islam is the one and true religion
That’s why you need to elaborate
Nej, Christianity is.

What could this possibly even mean bro  Are you suggesting ethnostates are justified?
Yes, if its  your land then you should be allowed to make it only for your people? Not really hard.

are you saying its immoral to want a land only for people like yourself when you own the land and have the right to do whatever you want with it?

It’s Christian’s like you that make worshipping God so corny

Are you saying the properties of the universe are eternal when we've seen that they've all had a begging and all will have an end?
Bro again :feelswah:, we've only observed the local expanding region of spacetime. I'm not talking about stars or galaxies or whatever ur imagining, I'm saying the underlying properties of the universe itself, especially before the big bang, are completely unknown to us. it would be foolish to assume we know FOR SURE what "created" the universe or if it even was created in the first place. Your assuming that we know for sure the universe started at that particular point - all that is is just our OBSERVABLE SCOPE, that's literally the maximum in the past we can look at. That's the same reason why scientists say OBSERVABLE UNIVERSE not universe when speaking about the big bang and related topics

> the burden of proof is on YOU not via "science doesn't know so the only alternative is god".

Like I said, we LITERALLY DO NOT KNOW what happened before the big bang. Scientists do not know. Its so simple to understand idk why ur not getting it. Scientists do not claim something came out of nothing, they genuinely just don't know

I agree with you, actually completely here. The only issue is, why are you falsely associating (I'm assuming) any characteristics of God's personality, will, design, who God is, what he wants, etc with being eternal? You said ur not a Christian but I assume you have some sort of idea in your mind of "God" other than being eternal? If not then we basically agree, sure the universe is God by that definition

Yes. Why should we apply logic to before anything existed? Before space and time itself existed? Until more research is done into this, my assumption is "I don't know". You on the other hand say "muh God, it has to be God!".

We can measure the age of the expanding spacetime region, not existence itself or what came before it. We lack the tools to probe beyond what happened before "the beginning".
Didn't you claim the universe is eternal meaning it has forever existed? That would be quite hypocritical but even so how can you tell me why we shouldn't apply reasonable thinking to before space in time if 1. If space and time didnt exist how would it come into existence when scientifically something cannot come from nothing. 2. Was the big bang before space in time? If yes then that contradicts your argument if no then that means it came from something. God by definition is something uncreated that created everything. So how is it illogical to assume that there was something before space and time that lead the the existence of space and time. Also you're argument is kinda all over the place, is it that the universe is eternal? The big bang is the first that we know? That were was a point were there was no space and time, and if so how would the big bang come into place?

Why would we assume that the cause is after space and time, something which in itself i created. And assume that this uncreated something came after a created something (goes against the nature of god) then how can you say this equates to the big bang being the creation of the universe, when was there a point in time where space and time existed which lead to us?

Existence of everything we know in this universe all came from the big bang, know your asking what came before everything or existence, which as I answered God, but wouldn't this go against the foundation that something cannot come from nothing, or the point that you made that the universe is eternal, or that we cant comprehend what was before space and time aka before the big bang when space and time in itself had to have a point of creation in order for us to exist? Also your undergrounded assumption is that there was something before the beginning which the burden of proof lays on you.

Either way this discussion is gonna lead to nothing so id like to come to a middle ground. "There was an occurrence which lead to the big bang" i dont see any disagreement because something "big bang" cannot come from nothing, and if you're gonna do the eternal argument just realized you're debunking yourself but saying the universe is eternal. But if you have a better middle ground let me know.

Gonna chimp out on me? Are you gonna get mad anytime someone can articulate better than you? Is this what it means to be a Christian??

You are absolutely enslaved, goverment would just be the elites of that day and age, doesn't make anything different, religion is used to freely control people without having to do anything violent to them, absolutely perfect brainwashing for slaves.

I just stated a fact and the guy told me that I am retarded, indirectly of course, wven though he is the one talking to himself and pretending that he is talking to a higher being from above, makes you really think about his unnatural behaviour, would he do that in woods in his cave if society never told him about it, no of course, that should be his answer.

its just a opportunity for leaders to capitalize on, if people want to use religion for good or for bad it doesn't invalidate religion in any way. There's no correlation with the actual truth of the religion

Nej Christians don’t believe colonization, violence or forced conversions were ever justified by Jesus teaching. That includes what Lutherans did. Their actions werent just “å little off” they were fundamentally opposed to the Gospel. Christ never commanded empir building, cultural domination or coercion. He explicitly rejected political power and violence His kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36).
The church Fathers didnt teach conquest they teched martyrdom, repentance, humility. So if ppl claiming to be Christians invaded lands, enslaved people and imposed religion by force, they weren’t living the faith. They were using the name of Christ to serve their own political and economic agendas something Orthodoxy condemns. And ja, the verses u quoted r å good point. Christians r called to live peaceably, not to dominate. Real evangelism happens through example, love, and sacrifice not by the sword, not through colonization. (Ik I might have agreed with him at first but I did some research abt this topic)

but now Christianity is widespread because of the sword.

Without it, Christianity would not have spread.

So orthodox Christians can now just sit back and enjoy modern Christianity being worldwide despite their own not doing the dirty work?

The world began to exist and everything that begins must have a cause. That cause must be timeless, spaceless, immaterial and powerful than nature itself. Only a personal being can choose to create which means the cause has will and purpose, just as Christianity describes God. The fine tuning of the world like gravity and physica laws makes life possible only under extremely precise conditions. Random chance or physical necessity cant explain it. Morality also points to God: if right and wrong truly exist there must be a moral law giver. Nature cant create moral truth only a personal God can. The resurrection of Jesus is backed by strong historical facts: his death by crucifixion, the empty tomb, eyewitness accounts and the rise of Christianity under persecution. No natural explanation accounts for all of it but resurrection as an act of God does. Finally the ongoing transformation of lives ppl changed by Jesus the rise of charity, justice and healing in His name shows that God is not only real but active. The world, morality and histori all point to one conclusion: the God of the Bible exists and has revealed Himself through Jesus
U said that but it doesn’t justify forcing of a religion on people even if someone’s forced to believe in something that wouldn’t be faith would it you’d js be enslaving them under a religion by forcing them but if they choose religion by themselves that’s justifiable
