Literally everything becomes harder if you're insecure about your looks. You either become too quiet and reserved, or you become completely over-the-top tryhard. You can't vibe with people at all. You will never be able to approach. Your cortisol spikes to infinity every time someone says hi to you. It's pretty much over if you can't either be gl or delude yourself into thinking you're gl. You legit need gigachad level looks to overcome the psychological damage of insecurity about your looks. Anything less won't give you the escape velocity to get past the weirdness you emit when you feel ugly.

what about the time you went out approaching and decided to see what would happen by telling yourself you weren't attractive and it took your ego out of the game and you ended up making out with some foid, not worth repeating?

Well you need to see yourself as having some value. I'm using looks here as that value since if you look up at the banner of this site it says, "Looksmax.org." But, yeah, if you think wealth, humor, status or whatever is valuable, you need to believe you have that thing. If you don't, you're fucked.

Radical zen-like humility is another way to go, I guess. I've never really tried it for any length of time, so I don't know how it works in the long term. Confidence or delusion have worked better for me in the past, and I think they're more reliable. You just don't want to be locked in that prison where you have high expectations/standards, but don't think you're good enough to get what you want. You can either lower your expectations to zero or raise your self-esteem. But you need to balance this equation somehow.

it's not about believing or confidence, it's about your face height and race

Insecurities are the building blocks of being seen as (if not even becoming) non-NT.

If you believe you'e gl when you aren't, it's even worse than game over.

Title could just aswell be: 'If you have mental issues its basically game over.'

functional people, even when they aren't good-looking, don't think they are ugly. They think they are just fine, they think that they deserve good-looking women and all good that life has to offer.

Feeling like you don't deserve good things, feeling like you are not good-looking enough. Those are mental issues.

Mental-maxxing should be a top focal point for anyone on this forum.

What's wrong with having no "social/sexual life"? What would be the point of an ugly or mentally ill person to pass on his or her genes and the suffering they entail? Natural selection exists for good reasons

mentally healthy 'subhumans' have low standards and are also attracted to 'ugly' women.
they don't believe they are ugly, but average. doing just fine, etc.

If you look in the mirror and you don't like what you see, that is already mental illness tbh.
At that point it is the question how much this mental illness impacts your daily life and whether you need professional help or not.

I would rather be a 5'10" normie who believes he's a chad than a shy 6'0" chadlite

Not really. Self esteem at least gives you a shot. It's completely over if you feel like shit about yourself as a subchad.

Unironically this is correct. I know from personal experience
