When he smiles: Attractiveness preferences for male faces expressing emotions - PMC
Keywords: face attractiveness, sexual dimorphism, masculinity, emotional expression
Highly dimorphic faces tend to be extremely attractive when smiling because they already have basis of strong emotions, so they require more effort.
Male dimorphic emotion tend to be extremely attractive, as women perceive those to be dominant. It is why faces of men like thick, positively tilted eyebrows (displaying slight anger), wider skulls, showing bigger capacity of expressions, dimorphic jaws, able to display the sheer mass of the big emotions like smile and anger.
One of the most dimorphic emotions is pride, if not the most dimorphic. Pride is displayed to be the most attractive emotion, as it displays dominance in an endeavor, and women go for dominance.
As such, it is necessary to look at things at the fact whether you can dominate people or not, or at least fake that you can do so. Its why height is very dimorphic, since it would indicate greater capacity for mass to fight.
Stronger jaws indicate stronger biting power.
Deeper voices indicate greater indixators of dominance.
Its why people with stronger brow ridges for example look less sad, as sadness. Its why you need to fight more to be aggressive if your less dimorphic.
You should try not to celebrate every win, since happiness is actually one of the less attractive emotions (when celebratory). However, amusement is perceived as extremely dimorphic and attractive.
the importance of not appearing sad, as its a massive perceived turn off for women. It indicates actual weakness (water hopefully)
Make your anger stronger, show more arrogance, win battles and talk BIG. Dominance will always be cherished.
