Just start fin or dut immediately, i have waited around 1 year and i went nw 1.5 to 2.5, started dut 4 month ago and got some regrowth but i wish i started earlier. Don't rely on minox and other topical hair stimulants they are hard to deal with. Don't underestimate norwood reaper. I wish started fin when i heard about it first but copers are here mislead me because it's tranny drug. It's just not and really fucking working.

It is hella working, when i started 3.5 months ago my right temple nw2 and left temple nw2.5-3, crown %60 thinned, now my right temple nw1, left temple nw2, crown %35 thinned and still progressing i wish i got most of my hair in 1 year if gains aren't logarithmic.

Good for you but this tranny drug has ruined countless lives and just because you don't have any sides or serious ones the first 3-4 months doesn't mean you are free. People have gotten serious sides even 10-12 months after first starting. Tell us your age, general health, etc.

People have gotten fibrosis on their penis which is clearly a sign that PFS isn't just placebo. But i dont understan why this happens. When they get of fin, they will bald again indicating the 5ar enzyme going back working as normal, so it means the neurosteroids also should go back to normal. Its such a mystery. I read a theory that it has something to do with the gut microbiome, seratonin, hpa axis going of track etc

While this is not an informative answer, I do believe anything surrounding 5ar inhibitor usage is just as genetic luck based as male pattern baldness is. Guys saying nocebo, guys claiming limp dick while on finasteride, guys saying PFS is placebo, others really experimenting PFS.

These are all legitimiate points and they depend completely on each person.

Just because finasteride works without problems for many people doesn’t mean everyone is lucky. Some men are just destined to be bald because either their MBP is too agressive or 5ar inhbition is not an option for whatever reason

Accutane, finasteride, ssri all have almost identical post usage syndrome, its really interesting. I think that everyone gets side effects from these drugs its just that for some people those sides aren't enough to be manifested in a degree that you can feel them. For example someone naturally has very high allopregnanolone levels, so when he takes fin it drops the leves by quite a bit but they are still in the range where the hormone can be effective, so no external sides.
