I think spongebob is genuinely an IQ boost for little kids. Shit had so much subtext put into it that made you a lot smarter in retrospect, like the episode with the chocolate bars and them being entrepenuers and getting scammed. It also taught me a lot about sarcasm/irony. My friend wasn't able to watch spongebob as a kid and he turned out stupid as shit when talking to others.
