If your canine fossa is deep, cheek sucking will do nothing for you

If you suck your cheeks as hard as you can like there is a BBC in your mouth and your cheeks barely look leaner or more hollow in decent lighting, then your canine fossa is probably deep.

Note the indent in the maxilla surrounding the cheekbones on the right (ignore the age).

Nasolabial folds are another good sign of this. Means your cheekbones will look like this when you get lean:

Looks good imo and the hollowness is probably visible across more lighting than typical hollow cheeks.

my zygos can look deep to shallow depending on the lighting but they are shallow nontheless

Yes if yours is more in the middle between shallow and deep, then lighting will determine what type of hollow cheeks you have.

I always wondered why when I suck my cheeks nothing happens so I never understood how people walk around like that. Now I think the extra concavity within the maxilla creates more space (a "pocket") for fat to fall into and make you look bloated. If your canine fossa is deep you need to be lean.

Most people have hollow cheeks in some lighting, even subhumans with chubby cheeks. I, however, look totally subhuman in all lighting unless I am lean, maybe because of canine fossa.

It's not even a bad thing. It just means you're fucked if you aren't lean and you have a different type of hollow cheeks that could be considered unique. Filler/implant or the like in the canine fossa would be the obvious solution to fill in the gap.

Mogs being bloated tbh but ideally hollow cheeks should be due to large zygos and your buccal fat should be quite high.

Fat around here tends to look much worse because there is less mass of the maxilla to push the skin outwards and stretch it out. I can imagine it’s not a great feature for ageing well.

If you have a good ogee curve then I doubt you don’t have hollow cheeks in some lighting when lean. If you don’t have big zygos that’s when people start coping with muh fat distribution which is cope since buccal fat that is too low looks unhealthy.

Yeah I was wrong about nasolabial folds. The only way you can actually tell is by feel. Nasolabial folds in young people are more indicative of proclined incisors and a protruding mouth area.

Well you could try filling in the maxilla with a custom midface implant, though I don’t know if it’s possible. You could also just focus on getting larger zygos.

Unless your fat pads are terrible and you have literally no fat there then yes I think. The folds are either caused by deep canine fossa or proclined incisors or both but I’m not too sure. Could also just be a flat maxilla/poor bone support in general.

Yup, used to think my cheekbones were lowset cause I tried cheeksucking but my hollow cheeks just weren't there, turns out I have a deep canine fossa, explains since my lower maxilla is very developed
