Age 15-16 I wanted to get lean so was in a calorie deficit that year. My doctor was shocked because I didn't grow at all. Then I started eating like mad and started growing again, but I missed out on 1-2 inches of height. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Yes, I believe that even being in calorie maintenance stunts growth compared to being in calorie surplus. If I was a teenager again I would just bulk and then lose the weight slowly once I'm 18.

Not actuallu. Weight gain also increase estrogen and it can make you shorter but idk.
