I still have 6 and a half years left. The average age at which young people in Spain leave the parental home and live independently is 30.3 years, four more than the EU average and the highest age of emancipation in the past 20 years (see Figure 1). More than 80% of the population aged between 16 and 29 live at home compared with an EU average of 68%.
Such a terrible traitWhat are you even saving money for at this point? Ideally you should have moved out years earlier.
You can be NEET but being a NEET past age 25 in your parents' house is so sad it's better to just be a wageslave at that point
Not a flex unless ur some celebrityI’m 16 and living alone jfl
If you think it's bait to say you're a loser if you're living with your parents at 25 you need to get outside. Only on a forum of inexperienced losers would this be a controversial take or seen as "bait"Such a terrible trait
What bait i said traitIf you think it's bait to say you're a loser if you're living with your parents at 25 you need to get outside. Only on a forum of inexperienced losers would this be a controversial take or seen as "bait"
My bad I just woke up and my eyes are blurryWhat bait i said trait
As in its a shit trait to live with ur parents after 25 as a man
Where do you live? The average age a man moves out of his parents house in my country is 34. I still got nearly a decade left
In USA yes. In Europe no.What are you even saving money for at this point? Ideally you should have moved out years earlier.

You have a solid amount of savings. Do the move.I'm 22
I'm trying to save as much as possible before buying a tiny house abroad. I'm not renting. I'm also waiting for my irish citizenship to be processed, so I can get my eu passport and move to french guiana or somewhere of the likeYou have a solid amount of savings. Do the move.
Not everything is about “bitches” or “surgery”, slaveWhy y'all bump this year old thread
Its the easiest way to moneymaxx for surgery (and more importantly, tank the surgery recovery) brvh does it really matter whether u get 0 bitches from your own house vs your moms house ???
What job do you do?My job doesn't pay me enough
i did the same thing. i moved out at 21 but moved back at 24 planning to save money living off my parents and get surgery. but living with ur parents is ass especially if you have a cunt narc mom like i do. so i left again lmao.I moved out at 23 and back in at 29 once it was clear I can’t slay any more.
The only benefit I see from moving out is being able to slay and, perhaps, a more peaceful life, but this really depends on your home situation and relationship with your family.
State of the people on this forum @Debetro. I moved out at 18, made some connections, now living almost rent free because I’m friends with the landlord.planning to save money living off my parents and get surgery
My networth is without a doubt 20x whatever yours is bud lmfao. I also did it to leave all of my shit at my parents to be a digital nomad without having to pay rent to some scum lord while travelling abroad.State of the people on this forum @Debetro. It's so sad seeing the younger generations having body dysmorphiaState of the people on this forum @Debetro. I moved out at 18, made some connections, now living almost rent free because I’m friends with the landlord.
I get it. I was the same in my youth. Fortunately I learned that self acceptance and self love is everything, and with self love you can’t lose. Only you have your back in every situation, so be kind to yourselfIt's so sad seeing the younger generations having body dysmorphia
Water moving out is cope unless you found a decent job away from ur hometown or somethingI lived alone for 2-3 years and wanted to kill myself tbh. Imagine coming back to an empty apartment after a long day of slaving and hearing your neighbours fucking while you rot and cannot do anything about it.
At least with your parents you have something to return to. Not to mention the obvious upside of not paying rent.
This is why I think people that say these things are larping hard. Nothing feels more souless than returning to that empty box.
Don’t get snippy with me just because your 5ar blockers won’t arriveYeah, sure
About as legit as @New Poster
My point was about how pathetic .org users are that they consider muh surgery (too desperate to please others), and take over their parents’ lives by living with them

Aren’t you on dut?Lol if you’re on anything more than preventative fin
Just preventative fin at nw0Aren’t you on dut?
Just lol at you asserting that at 25 you need to be moving out when you’re still young yourself. This is like how a kid says he’s going to be an astronaut when he gets older. You still haven’t figured out how life works. High school was just a few years ago for you.I'm 22
This was me at 15Just preventative fin at nw0
Why I get the jb and you don’t

Give it a few more years and you’ll realize how dumb this thread was. You aren’t able to recognize it just yet. What is this cope?
Not dumb at all. Don't cope and then say “you’ll understand later” so you don’t have to expand. What I said is completely true. If you are still living with your parents past 25, you are rotting and a FAILURE. One needs to get out of their comfort zoneGive it a few more years and you’ll realize how dumb this thread was. There’s nothing to expand on. You’re too young to realize that it’s not that easy and sometimes it’s not the smartest idea to move out. It’s not as cut and dry as you think it is.Not dumb at all. By 25, you should’ve saved up enough to move out, and should be in a new chapter. You can’t stay a baby at home forever. There’s nothing to expand on. You’re too young to realize that it’s not that easy and sometimes it’s not the smartest idea to move out. It’s not as cut and dry as you think it is.
If you have to ask that question, it’s overWhat age did u start?
I’m asking you. Obviously I’m already on itIf you have to ask that question, it’s over
But sometimes it’s not the best move. You save up money to get it sure but it’s not always the best move to leave. You could lose your job and suddenly you only have enough to cover two months rent. Rent in NYC can be north of like $3500 a month easily. The cheapest you’ll find for a studio is like $2000 in a bad area. Tell me why I should spend $2500 (average) for a shit apartment when I can live with parents in their multiple story house, have space for myself instead of just a room, and not have to cover rent or utilities? I guess if you live in the slums of Bradford where rent is like $1000 it can be manageable.By 25, you should’ve saved up enough to move out, and should be in a new chapter.
