I think it might be due having narcolepsy, which means that I dont have enough deep sleep during night. I have to compensate that with taking naps during day,thats where I get deep sleep though.

My sleep phases are all interrupted, get too much rem at night.

Most drooling also occurs during deep sleep, thats why I alwayd drool during naps
