I've already made a thread about this but it was kinda bad so making another.
I have done a fair bit of research into the effects, but I have never pinned before so I would love some anecdotes and advice from people who have pinned hgh.
What I think hgh improves if young enough:
- height (around 9cm for hgh deficient users on moderate dose (4ius/day for years))
- hand and foot size
- skull forward growth (maxilla)
- jaw (chin breadth, gonion width and mandibular projection)
- clavicle length
- recovery (less sleep to get the same amount of recovery and cognition abilities)
- muscle growth and muscle recovery
The potential risks:
- carpal tunnel syndrome (rare except in high doses (7+ius/day))
- joint pain (temporary and expected with skeletal growth)
- tumor growth acceleration (if you already have tumours then the rate of growth may be accelerated, however this means it will get spotted faster anyway and is extremely rare so not a concern of mine)
My hgh plan:
- On my 18th birthday in around 1 month, I am going to start an hgh cycle since I get access to a child trust fund with around £4200 or $5500 for American readers
- I will order the 720 iu box from QSC to my home in the UK
- I will pin 8ius / day for 90 days (this is subject to change if I think the dose should be lowered. I am unlikely to increase the dose without significant reason)
- I am considering adding an aromatase inhibitor to the stack, however the only compound I plan on injecting is hgh so it would just be for my natural estrogen production which may be slightly raised by hgh, to keep my growth plates open as long as possible if they still are.
What I'm hoping to get from the cycle:
Likely to get:
- improved sleep since I have exams within the 90 days
- muscle recovery
- slight growth of frame (via clavicles / scapular expanding since those plates usually don't fully ossify until around 25)
Unlikely to get:
- height growth. (since I will be turning 18 its unlikely my growth plates will still be open. However I have reason to believe they might be. I have definitely grown at least 2cm in the last 6 months and I am 5'10 with a 6'4 dad and 5'8 mum so genetically I should be 6'3-6'6).
- chin growth. (another indicator my plates aren't fully closed is my chin is narrow and recessed indicating deficiency and delayed ossification . I am hoping for a few mm in mandible, some breadth in chin and maybe some gonion projection)
- brow ridge growth
- neck growth (neck size is directly locked to the anatomy underneath it. I have put on as much muscle as possible on my neck already)
- maxilla growth and projection (extremely unlikely)
Questions for experienced users:
- Are the effects I detailed as likely as I suggest they are?
- Can you please give anecdotes of your usage? (How your skeletal structure changed, how old you were, what your stack consisted of)
- Did I miss out or get any effects wrong?
- What else could I add / subtract from the stack to get peak benefits?
