Im becoming religious

If you look at depression rates between atheist and religious people it’s pretty evident.

Without religion there's realistically nothing to live for. Money is a made up concept. Sex is overrated as fuck. Emotions are just chemicals. If you ever leave behind a legacy I'll be fucked(look at current Europeans) and forgotten. So there's no reason to live or to progress society if there's no God or after life to reward you.

Absolutely not going to happen, ever. There is no lake of fire or whatever it looks like to which people that are honestly exercising their brain are sent after life. Do you not get the absurdity of believing such a thing? A god that's bigger than the universe and gets upset because some apes on a tiny ball deny his existence? Please.

What is absurd is a guy getting emotional because someone else is religious. Why are you atheists so cringe like this? When I see an atheist I don’t try to change his mind, I just leave people be. Why can’t you be decent people?

It's a belief system that comes with a myriad of claims and precepts. My position doesn't have any inherent set of claims and dogmas, it's simply a denial of what hasn't been demonstrated. Of course I'm going to challenge your position more than you challenge mine, there is nothing to challenge. You carry the burden of proof, I don't. Good luck trying to debunk my personal conviction that religions are false. I don't make any specific claims such as a prophet of god splitting the moon in half and ascending to heaven on a horse.
