Lost a lot of strength during thr cut. So I am gaining it back thr progress is slow but steady. Failed the last few sets regardless

I am fat bro. My physique is just a ton of mass with lose definition near the arms and chest nothing to brag about.

Assuming I retain the strength which doesn't seem to be the case so far.
Strength goes quick at the start of the cut though as your losing all your glycogen stores

Stronglifts 5x5 for 6-7 months. Then a push pull legs and german volume training briefly for a few months

How much strength did you lose during the cut
All my lifts suffered a lot. These weights used to be feel like nothing when I was 104 kgs. Thr only thing that improved is my pull up strength and my running stats

Damn ok, did you dirty bulk? Thats what I did for almost 7 months went from like 88kgs to 115kgs because my parents force me to be a vegetariancel and I thought if I don’t add weight on the bar every session I’m doing something wrong lol. Thankfully cut back down now in the past 5 months, down to 93 now.

All thanks to muscle memory it helped me to regain some over time after skipping some days off at the gym

Yes a dirty bulk. Last year I had a give a lot of interviews and tests for my summer internships so I developed a habit of binge eating while preparing for those tests. Sit in front of thr laptop for 6-7 hours. Rot in the gym for an hour and eat like a hog. This was my routine for almost 8 months. I did gain a lot of muscle but I also gained a ton of fat

Yeah that how it goes at least you stopped and it didn’t go on for any longer. The strength gains on a dirty bulk are very addicting though, now that I’m cutting it feels so boring to gymcel because I’m lifting the same weights constantly or less
