In my early teens i got braces and of course since both me and my parents were basically clueless , the dentists decided it would be hilarious to remove some of my wisdom teeth and also leave me with asymetrical premolars. This means i have one premolar top right , two top left and the opposite on the bottom arch , 1 wisdom tooth top left and one one bottom left , i now have an uneven occlusion, a midline shift in the upper arch and ofcourse a bigger left masseter. i have tmj problemes / clicking on my left side which ive had for a long time now n my teeth just dont close properly.
ive spoken with some orthos and they all made me even more lost , some want me to remove the uneven / assymetrical premolars and leave me with an even pair , one said retract the left side so that its balanced with the right side, screw attachment with braces was also mentioned .
Ive mentioned to them countless times ablut expansion and implantation but its as if it wouldnt work on me constantly being shut down.
I really dont know what to do and would really appreciate sum advice, do i follow through with the premolar extraction? do i go through with a molar extraction and screw retraction? or do i just rope .
