Keto makes me want to kms. I'm just gonna track all my calories, lift and do cardio on off days.
Lifting might make you gain weight or maintain the same weight, so keep that in mind. For fat loss it's best to take regular waist circumference measurements.

Weight loss 101:

1. Learn how to track your calories and learn where your basal metabolic rate (BMR) approximately lies. Then make sure to eat 300-500 kcal. less than that. If weight loss plateaus present themself after a while decrease your daily calorie intake by an additional 200 kcal through the means of dieting and cardio. You don´t want to restrict your calories too much, because that can lead to metabolic illnesses, a skinny fat body composition, eating disorders etc.

2. Do cardio. Not only for your health, but because you can only restrict your food intake by so much, before you become nutrient deficient and mess up your metabolism because of that. Cardio allows you to eat more micronutrient-dense food while still being in the same calorie deficit.

3. Learn how to substitute junk food with low calorie dense alternatives. Learn how to cook protein pizza, make protein ice cream, etc.
Don´t be afraid of artificial sweeteners. The intention behind this is to eat great tasting foods till you are full all whilst still being in a calorie deficit. If you can control your hunger and your cravings, you WILL lose weight.

4. Be blackpilled about weight loss. Even if you do everything right when it comes to dieting and training, you will most likely never reach your goal. Your genetically predetermined bodyweight set point is simply too high. You simply have too many fat cells, and you are simply too hungry to get to your goal physique. NOT everyone can get shredded. You can´t turn a ham sandwich into a T-Bone Steak, metaphorically speaking.
