Most cases of recession are caused by habits. Those habits could have a strong genetic component, but could still be overridden if the right practices we’re ensured in an optimal timeframe. If there indeed is a ‘facial recession’ gene, then it’s akin to a genetic disorder, and thus probably similar in rarity.

Obv there are genes who control your bone development patterns, but I find it unlikely that they would specifically tell your jaws to grow disproportionate to one another in lots of people.

Manged to lose them in the bathtub after 2 months. Despite that, I still turned out looking like my mother's clone (still a recessed subhuman but not like pic related).
