There were once so called "bespoke" implants.
Basically surgeon was hand carving the implants for your face to create the most smooth result.
Nearly all implant researchs about off the shelf or bespoke implants.
No study for custom wraparound jaw implants.

I'm recently seen that there are lots of reliable surgeons who does implants regularly, BUT they do only off-the-shelf implants.
However, all implantech materials available around the world, and it's a lot cheaper than custom ones. So that means we have no problems as for the material quality, the only problem is customization.

I'm not convinced that Eppley or Yaremchuk can design the best for me but not the local surgeon. Because we all know and seen that they can fail too.
So;

Let's say that we gonna get this for chin (i need square, and this looks very good on males, i saw pics on realself)

Tscs1

And also basically this for jaw :
Facial Implants 2
Jaw angle implant 300x215

So it will be overlap like this in general :
Profile Chin implant

There can be some problems due to this implants:
1- Design fails. This is not a disadvantage if we compare with 3d printed custom implants because we all seen that custom wraparound can fail too.
2- Unbalanced look on the overlapping part. This is also, i believe can be avoidable by the surgeon, like buy cutting the erroneous edge -tail of the implant-.

So beside all from these, are there any potential advantages of getting 3d customized implants?

because people with recession shouldn't have implants, they need osteotomy first. implants for people with no recession.

do you have recession on chin/ maxilla ?
or lose some fucking weight tbh

if ur not recessed and forward grown your jaw will pop out at around 10-12%

and forward grown=stretches the skin so bones are seen at higher BF%

how is this not on the best of the best tbh

That would actually be a great result if the chin didn't have so much fucking advancement. His chin was slightly crooked before so he just needed the implant to correct the imbalance and add a bit of height... still looks better after though.
