I think people underestimate the importance of daily interactions with non-family humans, or at least i did during growing up. due to me thinking that school will always bring me these interactions on a plate of gold without any effort while growing up, i only created very few friendship in my area back when i was super nt. that single mistake has costed me my entire high school years and what is left to come. After elementary i switched to online school (forced) and then we moved from our hometown, since then i have not made a single new irl friend during the whole 3 years of high school, in the same time i was diving deeper and deeper into weird interests and this subculture, making it significantly harder to create any real friends irl. not to mention, when i used to go to school it was always an all-boys school, so i have practically zero experience with girls, never had one even as a friend before.
I now sit alone in my room everyday just looking for whatever best source of dopamine is available in the very next second, no friends, only been out for fun like 14 times during three years due to my crippling body dysmorphia, i have never went out with a group of friends before. I have no idea what comes next when i eventually go for university -which is very soon-. i might as well just give up and rot til i die
