I think if your are in close distance. You can also Patrick Bateman style use an axe. It would more satisfying to end it with an axe. Imagine swinging it across and his head gets squashed like an egg and your axe stuck in his skulls and then you pull it out and take out what's left of the inside of his brain breaking his cranium tearing apart his flesh and take a blow again until his body is unrecognizable. Axe also has nice weight which makes it nice to swing or throw across the room. Gun isnt ideal because in close encounters it is hard to quickly aim at someone @sportsmogger

Imo gun mogs because it's effective from ANY distance. You need a bit of space to swing the axe properly. If you slip and fall over, the axe is not usable because you can't swing it from a ground. But none of this matters with a pistol.
