Britishers loved uppercaste indians
They even created the idea of "martial race" favouring rajput,jaat,sikhs, gurkha etc
Indian soldiers won many lands for them like burma Singapore, hongkong,malay etc
And They never tried to force Christianity because they were scared of revolts
Only lower caste dalits were "slaves" same situation as before british when they were under uppercaste
