Indians/Pakistanis/bangladeshis dont realize how bad their countries are even on a global level

Obviously the west is more developed everyone knows that. What most Indians don’t know is that how much worse India is than even South America and East Asia, and Eastern Europe (two of those regions get memed on a lot for being shitholes).

Your average favela in Brazil looks like an upper middle class neighborhood in India.

The nicest areas of Eastern Europe are far better than the nicest areas of India. The worst gypsy slum in Romania is nicer than like your average Indian city.

The only regions of the world which you can find countries comparable to India or India-lite (aka Bangladesh or Pakistan) in sheer lack of development and infrastructure are the Middle East, and Africa. SE Asia has pulled way ahead so even they’re more developed.

i agree even our parliament building leaks during Monsoon, the state of indian infrastructure is epitome of being pathetic.
