8 weeks ago injured my knee. Only have hit legs like 4-6 times since and have barely even gone altogether. WTF do I do?

This is the first time in almost 10 years (still in my early 20's) I've been unable to adhere to my program. It's been seriously driving me insane. Do I just commit to a calorie deficit and twinkmax? Genuinely feeling lost in where to go from here.

Don't say "Go to a doctor" either. I'm not moving around with fucking crutches for 8 weeks.

Tons of rest, physio and perhaps some peps.
I doubt there's much more you can do about it, just take it easy with the workouts

Work your other leg, it reduces muscle atrophy

I have buddies that are physical therapists and I wouldn't trust them with fuckall. I'm scared they'll make it even worse

I would still rather have two regular sized legs than one big quad and one atrophied one you know what I mean

Do not try any exercises that involve the injury. Let it rest and hopefully heal, and seek out a doctor if you're able. Pushing through the pain is a bad idea

I've got various injuries that will never go away and one that needed surgery and still wasn't good after

I think the imbalance would be greater if you stopped training tbh. Your better leg will grow slightly but your weak leg will reduce in atrophy quite a bit.

If you don't train at all, the atrophy will be more as you cannot even move your leg normally. Not sure, but that's how I see it

I'm so fkn ND bro I can't just hit every other muscle in my body during the week and skip leg day. I keep trying to push away the idea that I'm actually hurt, which is making me behave in such a way that I'm making it even worse. I'm cooked.

Don't be retarded or you'll fuck your body up for life. You only get one body and it's not like a car where you can just swap out the broken parts and have it be good as new

I made the mistake of pushing through the pain thinking I was being tough when in reality I was just giving myself an unfixable injury. Granted, I found out later on that this joint was a genetic weak link for me but still, it was my own actions that caused it to be bad so early in life instead of failing at maybe 30+. This happened at 17 and got surgery at 18. Joint is still shitty in my 20s and will never get any better for my entire life

Absolutely not worth it buddy just rest and do what you can to get it fixed, and in the future STOP when you feel joint pain. Muscle burn means your workout is effective but you should never feel pain in yoir joints, and if you do, you're causing DAMAGE. It's like with a car, how it's perfectly good to occasionally run it hard as long as everything is working well, but if it's overheating you need to stop and reassess things and find what's wrong before you can even think of running it hard.

I regularly take my vehicle close to 100 miles an hour and do full throttle takeouts with it where the engine revs to almost recline but that's ok to do on a healthy engine showing no signs of issues. I'd never do the same if I seen the temp guage was too high or if the oil pressure was too low as that would destroy it and make the issue worse. Your body having joint pain is the equivalent of a car's system warning you of overheating or low oil pressure so you stop driving and get it checked out and fixed before it gets worse
