I am an IQcel so I'm not going to read these studies, but wouldn't inherited wealth and social class itself correlate strongly with higher IQ? Basically, couldn't IQ be the greater predictor in and of itself, but social class correlating with both wealth and IQ would compound the advantages.

Yes, they more than likely correlate since higher salaries + social class are correlated with higher IQs. But the IQ chart TAILS showed doesn't really prove his point unless he defines wealth imo. A high IQ (135) person coming from poverty with a net worth of 1.5M, doesn't have more money than the uber-wealthy. I know I wrote "uber" there, so it looks like a distinction is being made but I am just trying to separate wealthy people in categories.

Yeah wealthy is a broad term. To me an upper middle class person making, say, 150k USD a year, would be "wealthy" even though someone could be born with a guarantee of inheriting 100x that. In that case, IQ doesn't matter.

All these terms are relative and I'm not sure what the intent is to prove.
