There was an old cult-classic show called Kindred: The Embraced. It's a show about vampires, and it is inspired by the tabletop RPG game Vampire: The Masquerade.
In the setting of this world, there are different vampire clans with different backgrounds/concepts. One is called the Nosferatu clan. Their defining feature is that they are all mutilated-looking and hideous, to the point where they cannot live out in the open. This is what they looked like originally:
The TV show version was going for a more realistic approach. So how did they portray the Nosferatu? Did they use extensive makeup effects or dress the actors in rags?
It's literally just a bald guy. Apparently they thought it was appropriate to just make a guy bald to portray him as hideous (oh and they did something weird to his earlobes, if that counts).
