I have not seen any threads about under eye support, and this is my worst feature, so I thought I would document it for myself and maybe anyone else wanting to read. The general consensus and myth is that canthal surgeries are the only possible solution to fixing lower sclera.

This is an introduction. For it to be a complete system, there would have to be documented ways to differentiate each problem, because what exactly is causing it is hard to tell. I should have also expanded on the descriptions a bit. I or someone else should finish this.

- Posterior lamella (Spacer Graft)
- Globe Prominence (Bulging Eye Surgery)
- Infraorbital rim (Saddled Inframalar Implants)
- Orbital Septum (Fat Grafting)
Some people (I saw Clav on Tiktok live say that inframalar implants fix canthal tilt, but that it a huge oversimplification and isnt necessarily true) say that inframalar implants address lower eyelid recession; however, inframalar implants without a saddle have little to no effect on the lower eye area because the eye shape comes from orbital muscles.
I couldn't find before and after photos where whether a saddle is used, but consultants supposedly will show you before and after of saddle vs no saddle.

A canthoplexy is simply a tightening of the lower eyelid.

A canthoplasty moves where the lateral canthal tendon is attached to bone. The lateral canthal tendon connects the lower and upper lid and connects to bone.
Bulging Eye Surgery
Bulging eye surgery creates more space inside the eye socket so the eyeball can sit farther back. Globe prominence is how far the eyeball sits in the orbit. This is done by bony or fat decompression or a combination of the two.
Bony decompression occurs on the medial wall, lateral wall, or floor. Fat decompression occurs on orbital fat.

A spacer graft is a piece of tissue or a tissue substitute that is inserted into the lower eyelid to make it vertically taller.
