IPD measured at 64mm by ophtalmologist, but my eyes are very far apart

The eye doctor measured my IPD for my glasses and he measured 64mm. The issue is that my eyes are really far apart to the point that people makes fun of me bc of them. When I measure it myself I found 71-72mm.

Not at all, I have narrow jaw and TMJ (dislocated chronically)
