It’s basically all just a cope because they cannot afford a new iphone but can afford a 300$ pocofone, vivo or something.

100%. i could sit there and argue that its unfair and whatnot but lifes unfair. instead of complaining everyone should be focusing on what actually matters, and that is sociallising. 90% of us don't give a flying doodlefuck about specs and we don't use em. apple knows this and they instead focused on their rep and their bubble. its a status symbol

This. Some Xiaomi phone could have a 4k screen, 270hz refresh rate, 5Tb of storage and a computer grade processor for 300$, but a used iPhone XR would still be a better status symbol just thanks to brand image and imessage. It’s not fair, it’s not good, but it’s life.
