IPR problem

my orthodontist said that if I want to correct my overbite, my four lower incisors might need interproximal enamel reduction. but in the scan of my teeth it looks there is enough space in the lower jaw, especially considering my incisors will tilt forward during the treatment. so, can the interproximal reduction be avoided?
