Many brainlets come arguing how IQ is everything, however its just a number which cannot determine the complexity of the brain. Less than 10% of the brains methodical operations are known & intelligence comes in many forms.

dont forget if you make mistakes because muh muh you trusted your brain and then you look back 2 years apart and realize that you were a fukn dumbass and if you did things differently thought process etc etc, you would have lived x amount of times better, even "high iq" people make very very stupid mistakes

I'd say it's probably the best measurement of intelligence, but people could have a high iq without being very smart and doing good in life, so it can be misleading.

I wish there was a better way to measuree intelligence, like 99% accurate

how is "general intelligence" measured...
The closest is IQ... :lul:

It's a theoretical construct and IQ is closest we can get to realizing it, if that makes sense.

im ignorant but wouldnt iq and general intelligence have a 1 on 1 correlation then, or atleast a lot closer than 0.8

im guessing creativity which isnt measured in IQ would be a part of general intelligence too, though theres a lot of smart uncreative people

well this topic isn't really for people who don't understand how the brain works. However each compartment of the brain has its own individual function. Think of it as cracking a 30+ figure password, the amount of combinations possible are endless. To put it into the human brain analogy, different "passwords" explain show different things. These "passwords" are better for somethings than other. A cracker that focuses on using special characters rather than letters would crack a password with special characters easier, however much slower with an all digit password.

Those mistakes may even be easier recognised by low IQ individuals. :feelshah:

bro had to ask ai to explain

dnr iq is the closest we get to measuring our intelligence

mmm not really, it shouldn't be defined by a number. Should be a qualitative measurement rather than quantitative, or a mix of both.

That's because there's more to the brain, your entire body is literally controlled by your brain. Keep that in mind.

bit of an exhaustive analogy....
but yes some people have higher verbal iqs, others higher logical iq, etc.

He said its the closest way to measure intelligence, which it is as of now

EQ>IQ. Half of the pepole dont even know what their IQ is anyway. They just assume its high

what does this even have to do with looksmaxxing man wrong sub

It’s not perfect but it holds the most positive predictive power out of any psychometric tests from the cognitive sciences so I don’t see your point
